The Presbyterian Homes, Inc. announces the election of three new members who will serve on its Board of Govenors.  The new board members are:  Mr. David Coulter, The Reverend Dr. Diane L. Givens Moffett and The Reverend Dr. Byron A. Wade.

David CoulterMr. David Coulter is a native of Roanoke, Virginia.  He received a Master in Health and Hospital Administration from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and holds an undergraduate degree from Virginia Military Institute.  Coulter retired as the senior vice president and administrator of Cary Hospital in 2015.  Coulter joined Wake Med in 2006 and was named administrator of Cary Hospital in 2009.  Prior to working at Wake Med, he held a variety of positions with Rex Healthcare and was the Wake Med Raleigh Administrator.  Coulter, a resident of Cary, serves on several boards and is engaged in the community in a variety of ways.  He has served on the Board of Trustees for Glenaire since 2011 and currently serves as Vice-President while also serving on the finance committee.

Diane Givens MoffettThe Reverend Dr. Diane L. Givens Moffett is a native of Oakland, California.  She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and received both her Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry degree from the San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, California.  Moffett serves as the Senior Pastor of Saint James Presbyterian Church in Greensboro and Moderator of the Salem Presbytery.  She is active within her local community and has served in various capacities within Salem Presbytery and the General Assembly.  She is an accomplished author and speaker. 

Byron A. WadeThe Reverend Dr. Byron A. Wade is a native of Los Angeles, California.  He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands (CA), and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (now Union Presbyterian Seminary) in Richmond, VA, a Master of Divinity from Johnson C. Smith Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA, and a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL.  Wade serves as the Pastor of Davie Street Presbyterian Church in Raleigh and is an active member of New Hope Presbytery, filling many positions within its structure, while also being involved on the national level.  In addition to being active within his local community, he has participated in international mission trips as well.

The Board of Governors also announces the election of the executive committee which includes:  Mr. Kevin Tilley, Chair, Mrs. Elizabeth Cooley, Secretary, and Peter Tourtellot, Treasurer.  Mr. Gerry Rogers is Past Chair. 

Special recognition is given to those rotating off of the Board of Governors, which includes:  Mr. Joe Ely, Mr. Bill Fulton, and Ms. Regina McLaurin.
